SUPER YACHT – ACE C144
It is not only the largest superyacht built in the CONRAD SHIPYARD shipyard in Gdansk, but also the largest motor yacht built entirely in Poland.
The distinctive design features extremely modern traits, while retaining a timeless elegance, manages to harmonise sinuous shapes with strong lines of the silhouette, giving the yacht a strong and intriguing muscularity. The first hull in the C144S line impresses with its graceful yet sporty and dynamic appearance.
It took two years of fine-tuning, engineering, planning and hard work by many highly skilled craftsmen at the Conrad shipyard to sculpt the magnificent 44.5-metre yacht, which set sail for the first time in the waters of the Baltic in Gdansk in October 2022 and is now winning well-deserved awards and prestigious international prizes with strength and determination.
In Venice, ACE received two YACHT AND AVIATION AWARDS 2023 , the Oscars of the yachting industry, which recognise the best creations and most innovative concepts in the maritime and aviation sectors.
The Swiss client turned out to be a very demanding customer, so much so that it required a great deal of commitment from highly skilled workers and high experience in custom construction; this spectacular yacht is the result of collaboration between many leading European companies in different industries.
The body of the yacht was designed by the renowned British firm Reymond Langton Design with extraordinary attention to detail and an exciting collaboration with the Dutch firm Diana Yacht Design, responsible for the architecture and naval engineering.
The interior design and layout of the exterior decks was handled by the Milan-based M2 Atelier studio, which was responsible for the co-ordinated interior design perfectly in line with the ‘made-to-measure’ dimension of the Italian soul.
Meeting the highest quality requirements, the ACE yacht guarantees the highest level of luxury wrapped in modern design. Each piece has been carefully chosen to contribute to creating an extraordinary atmosphere and comfort both inside and out.
The exclusive and selected materials lend that special harmony that comes mainly from fine craftsmanship. Noble French oak, white Lasa marble, nubuck, light fabrics and metallic details could not be missing. A skilful mix of ingredients capable of lending a ‘polite’ elegance to the rooms, in perfect harmony with the client’s wishes and M2atelier’s philosophy – ‘Less is enough’.
The large, floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows add natural light and a sense of airy spaciousness, offering incomparable views of majestic seascapes.
Shards of mirrored glass incorporated in the ceiling, comfortable sofas and suspended furniture dialogue in perfect balance and lightness, thanks also to a lighting system that emphasises the sense of continuity and the concept of a ‘houseboat’.
The quintessence of the idea of expanding the overall perception of space is the owner’s suite with office, living room, bedroom, dressing room and a luxurious bathroom.
“The spaces allowed us to experiment and push the boundaries. We redesigned every single area, every single room to adapt them to the owner’s needs and lifestyle,” explain Marco Bonelli and Marijana Radovic, who are responsible for the interior design. The fluidity of the concept, openness and transparency come together to create a dilated and inviting space that characterises the yacht, made warmer by the Listone Giordano parquet flooring (chosen by the architects) for its perfectly even surface and the delicate grain of the noble French oaks. The soft tone of the Argilla grey Classica collection is enhanced by an extremely tactile and natural matt finish that composes the horizontal framework. The parquet floor seamlessly covers the interior decks from the entrance to the main living room through the corridors, captain’s bridge, bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms
The 44.5-metre ACE unit sets new standards in every respect. It offers extraordinary comfort and ambience for a company of 10 people, offering a master suite, 4 VIP cabins, as well as 4 double cabins for the crew and a captain’s cabin on deck.
The exterior deck is a clever combination of many multi-functional areas, starting with the fantastic aft deck with beach club, passing through 4 beautiful lounge areas, an on-board cinema, 2 bars and 2 dining areas, and ending with the relaxation area with a running track and an infinity pool on the upper deck.
Conrad Shipyard represents the epitome of a boutique shipyard, able to find unique tailor-made solutions to suit the personality of each individual customer.
“We cooperate with the most reliable and professional companies and suppliers in Poland, Europe and around the world based on our motto ‘yachts of the highest quality at the best price’. – Mikołaj Król, President of Conard SA
Forestile was honoured to be able to collaborate on this extraordinary project with Shipyard.
